Service Appointment Coordinator +

Prince George Toyota is currently seeking an enthusiastic individual to fill the role of Service Appointment Coordinator. We are looking for a positive and self-motivated person who enjoys dealing with a wide variety of people every day. The most important requirement of the position is the willingness to learn and adapt to new situations.

  • This is a full-time position 5 days per week, 8 hour shifts.
  • We offer a competitive compensation package with Extended Benefits after 3 months employment.
  • We also offer staff pricing on service and parts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Booking and organizing customer appointments by phone or in person
  • Using our company software for booking appointments, generating invoices, customer follow up etc.
  • Processing credit card payments and collecting payment for invoices
  • Processing and reconciling Toyota Warranty claims
  • Performing basic office tasks such as filing, emails, etc.

Education & Experience

  • Previous Automotive Industry experience an asset but not required
  • Experience using a multi line phone system and computer skills are preferred
  • Able to communicate effectively and courteously to all staff and customers through phone or in person
  • Has strong organizational skills and an ability to multitask
  • Is detail oriented with an attention to accuracy in their work
  • Able to work as a team player

Licensed Automotive Red Seal Technician+

Prince George Toyota is currently seeking an individual to fill the role of Licensed Automotive Red Seal Technician. We are looking for a positive and self-motivated person who enjoys dealing with automotive vehicle repair. An Automotive Technician is responsible for the servicing and repair of customer and dealership vehicles as assigned by service representatives of the company. The most important requirement of the position is the ability to provide exceptional service to each and every one of our customers.

  • This is a full-time position, 5 days per week, 8 hour shifts, running Monday to Friday.
  • We offer a competitive compensation package with Extended Benefits after 3 months employment.

  • Training Available.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prompt and professional service and/or repair of vehicles assigned.
  • Able to complete all work in accordance with the dealership safety requirements and protocols.
  • Test drive vehicle and verify repairs needed, completing quality control inspection on completion.
  • Document all services and repairs by completing appropriate notes and paperwork or using in house computer system to obtain and complete repair orders.
  • Dispose of fluids and chemicals in accordance with established guidelines as well as using all machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain and inventory of standard automotive technician tools required to perform all services and repairs.
  • Utilize dealership standard operating procedures to perform various jobs.
  • Attend training as required.
  • Provide administrative assistance to complete work orders and claims.

Education & Experience

  • Provincial Automotive Technician License – Red Seal
  • Basic computer skills required.
  • Able to communicate effectively and courteously to all staff and customers.
  • Is detail oriented with an attention to accuracy in their work and an ability to multitask.

Parts Advisor+

Prince George Toyota is currently seeking an enthusiastic individual to fill the role of Parts Advisor. We are looking for a positive and self-motivated person with an interest in automotives and who can offer expert advice. They are a strong team player who can communicate effectively with all departments within the business. The most important requirement of the position is the ability to provide exceptional service to each and every one of our customers.

  • This is a permanent full-time position 5 days per week, 8 hour shifts, Monday to Friday. Pay will be based on the level of experience.
  • We offer a competitive compensation package with Extended Benefits after 3 months employment.
  • We also offer staff pricing on service and parts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Front counter experience with superior customer service skills.
  • Supplying the required parts and accessories for each individual job.
  • Purchasing, receiving, and storing parts.
  • Organizing paperwork and processes to maintain accurate inventory counts.
  • Parts administrative duties such as answering the phone, booking appointments, invoicing, and assisting the accounting department to complete paperwork etc.

Education & Experience

  • One to three years previous automotive parts experience required.
  • Previous body shop experience would be considered an asset.
  • Experience using a multi line phone system and strong computer skills are preferred.
  • Able to communicate effectively and courteously to all staff and customers through phone or in person.
  • Has strong organizational skills and is detail oriented with an attention to accuracy.
  • Able to work in fast paced environment with the ability to multitask.
  • Must have a valid driver's BC Driver's License.
