Owners of older Toyota models have the option to enroll in Toyota Service Care and the roadside assistance program through Safety Connect, a service available in Connected Services for a modest monthly fee. What Does Toyota Roadside Assistance Help With?

  • Mechanical Breakdown Towing: In the event of a mechanical breakdown, simply give us a call, and we'll tow your vehicle to your preferred Toyota Dealership within 50 kilometres or to the nearest Toyota Dealership within 300 kilometres.
  • Accident Towing: If you find yourself in an accident, we'll tow your vehicle to your preferred Toyota Dealership within 50 kilometres or to the nearest Toyota Dealership within 300 kilometres. If needed, we can also arrange a second tow from your accident-reporting center.
  • Battery Boost: If your Toyota doesn't start after a boost, we'll tow your vehicle as per the Mechanical Breakdown towing benefit mentioned earlier.
  • Lockout Service: Accidentally locking your keys inside your car can happen to anyone. With Toyota Extra Care Roadside Assistance, we'll contact a service facility to help you regain access to your vehicle. Just give us a call when you find yourself in this situation, and we'll assist you in getting back on the road.
  • Fuel Delivery: Should you run out of fuel, Toyota Extra Care Roadside Assistance will deliver gasoline to your stranded vehicle, covering the cost of up to 5 litres.
  • Tire Change: If your vehicle experiences a flat tire, contact our roadside assistance, and we'll install your usable spare tire for you.
  • Winching: In case your car becomes immobilized in a ditch, mud, or snow, Toyota Extra Care Roadside Assistance will coordinate the winching of your vehicle onto the nearest roadway. Simply reach out to our roadside hotline, and we'll take care of the situation.
  • Trip Interruption: If you encounter a mechanical breakdown more than 300 kilometres from home, the Toyota Extra Care Roadside Assistance Program will reimburse you for the expenses incurred to return home, including repairs, overnight stays, meals, and more.
  • Travel Planning: If you need assistance planning your trip, let us know! We'll support you in organizing your next weekend getaway or road trip adventure by providing a personalized travel planner, including trip logs, alternate routes, vacation area maps, and more! 

How to Access Toyota Roadside Assitance

Toyota Roadside Assistance is accessible around the clock, seven days a week, either through the Toyota Safety Connect app or by dialling the toll-free number: 1-888-TOYOTA-8 (1-888-869-6828). Moreover, in most Toyota vehicles, you can effortlessly reach Roadside Assistance by pressing the vehicle's SOS button, usually positioned just above your rearview mirror. Even if you are unable to provide details about your location, the agent can automatically retrieve the vehicle's coordinates and other relevant information, ensuring that a tow truck or service vehicle can be directed to your precise location.
